The Brentford Card launches for TW8

The Brentford Card, a £29 annual discount card for TW8 residents that lives in your phone wallet, opens for founding members today.

The Brentford Card is a paid annual membership that gives residents discounts and offers at independent businesses across Brentford, and it opens to founding members today.

For £29 a year the card lives in your Apple or Google Wallet, so there is nothing to carry and nothing to lose. Members show the pass in store to claim offers at participating businesses, from Sam’s Waterside at the Brentford Project to Feather & Heart at Brentford Lock and the London Museum of Water & Steam by Kew Bridge.

Why a card, and why now

Brentford is changing fast. The Brentford Project and Kew Bridge Rise are bringing thousands of new homes and new neighbours to TW8, and the town’s independent businesses are what will make it feel like somewhere rather than anywhere. The card is a simple way to send spending to those businesses and to give new arrivals a reason to shop local from week one.

Five per cent of every membership goes to a named Brentford cause. The scheme is independent — it is not run by the council and it is not funded by a developer.

Founding member pricing

The first 250 cards are founding memberships. Founding members keep their price at renewal and get a founding badge on their pass. You can get the card here, or join the newsletter if you would rather wait for the full directory to fill out over the summer.
